A Quick Talus and Yavin 4 Tour Guide
I visited Talus and Yavin 4 over the past weekend. Talus is a very quite planet, although I've done some sight seeing at a dozen or so places listed in the Talus Visitor's Guide, but there's not really any interesting stuff to write about it.
Landscape(skyscape) of Yavin 4.
Yavin 4 on the other hand, has only 5 or so sites listed in the Lonely Galaxy's Guide, but approved to be quite facinating, it's rich in history and mystery... Not only Yavin 4 is the home to the now extinct Massassi race, but also is the home to the darkside force users - the Sith. Visiting the gigantic Massassi temples and the Temple of Exar Kun(the most famouse Sith lord to date) is a must.
A Massassi temple of enormous propotion.
Temple of Exar Kun - exterior, as I approaching the temple, I can feel the dark side power all around me, the dials on my swoopbike become erratic, I felt a knot in my stomach...Is that the statue of him on top of the temple?
Inside the temple - I felt no better, it's .... creepy, I felt somebody or something is wating me....
There's also the mysterious Blue Leaf Temple - it's origin and back ground are still much debated by the archaeologists through out the galaxy.
The Blue Leaf Temple - exterior. Unlike the dark temple of Exar Kun, I felt peace and harmony here.
Inside the Blue Leaf Temple - a mysterious monolithic obelisk of unknow material, sizzling with energy...
The other site worth visiting is the Woolamander Temple, however, be warned, this place is full of Woolamanders - a monkey like creature that's very aggresive, there has been many reports of off world travelers being killed - not a place for casual travelers.
The Woolamander Temple - exterior.
Woolamander Temple - interior, weird statues of Woolamander are everywhere.
The admission to the Temple of Exar Kun is very strict, not everyone is allowed entrance, I'll follow up with some detail. Over all, Yavin 4 is quite dangerous, it has many other aggressive wild animals, Kliknik, Crystal Snake etc. I had to stop and rescure a Teräs Käsi Master during my travel.
