On to Yavin 4

My work on Lok is done, Lady Viopa is sending me to Yavin 4 to further my training, I'll miss her very much.



Almost there, look beautiful isn't from the space?



Hmmm, what a curious looking piece of asteroid, almost look like someone's eye... Rebel secret service has gotten information from our Bothan spies about something called "Eye of Palpatine" - a secret weapon that boasts immense destructive power like the Death Star, it also capable of hyperspace travel, it's also said to be constructed out of a hollowed out asteroid. If tha's true, we'll be in a lot of trouble... I should report this as soon as I land.

Back in action. Again!

Finally got my Y-Wing fixed, I've been grounded for so long, I'm itchy for some action now. So, I flew into space, and did a few Rebel patrols. Not only I blew up a lot of Imperial ships, I also completed the rest of my Tier 2 flight training. I also upgraded my onboard weapon, as I suddenly realised, it tooks me a looong time to destroy a Tier 3 ship. After the upgrade, now I can do 80% more damage! Should have done that a lot earlier. Once I'm certified to use more sophisticated equiptment, the firt thing I'll do is upgrade weapons, then ship. But, the next level of training will be tough, very tough. The full day of action naturally made me very hungry, good thing Nym has got a big kitchen, and very well stocked :)

Better than expected

It was a fun day yesterday at the championship, a lot of TKD practitioners came over from all over the nearby cities. I only entered into the pattern contest. When I got there, I found out there would be competing with a 3rd Dan and a 4th Dan, plus a whole bunch of other 2nd Dans and 1st Dans, my chance of walk away with a trophy was pretty slim. But at the end, I got the 2nd place, beaten by that 4th Dan, it was way better than my expection.

That guy was good ... very good. I peformed with Po-Eun with most competitors, but the last one, he refused to do Po-wan, so I had to do Ge-Baek, my balance was off at a few places that required to do jumpping/hopping kicks. Kick has always been my weak point, and I haven't practice Ge-Baek that many times. Even a Jedi need some good old fasioned practice.

Disappearing Jabba's Palace

... has reappeared, however, it's still uncertain what has really happened. This is certainly not the first occurance of such strange things. Sometime ago, there were also reports of merchants and beings been put into travel pack - and they're not dwarf sized beings, how anyone can do that is completely beyond my understanding of the Force. Then again, if Darth Plagues can cheat death, what is not possible? It is our understanding of the Force that's limiting us.

Anyway, now I must meditate. Tomorrow morning I will catch a ride from one of Nym's old cargo ships to Coronet for the competition, and hope that old-bucket-of-bolts will hold together long enough to get me there. I can feel the Force flow through me...

Yet another Imperial Regulation

Turned on my com uplink, and I got a broadcast message that today the Empire is publishing yet another regulation - #24. It's been so many regulations lately, I think the Empired has paniced, they're losing the Galactic Civil War. Waiting for the full regulation to be downloaded, it will be a while ...

Also, there's a rumor that the Jabba's palace has disappeared ... I felt the disturbance in the force, however, I did not know exactly what happened. I felt no life lost, so I guess the palace is just being hidden from the view - a powerful force wielder has clouded people's mind...? Well, I sure didn't do this, then whodunit? Must be the Empire and the Sith...

Strange painting

A few days ago, I sold a painting I got from my stint on a planet far far away. It was an interesting place, and I had some fun and fond memory about the place, but I need to make room in my house. I didn't get a lot of credits for it, but at least it covered my travel expense to that place. And it's actually worth the same amount of credits that I made as my cover job as a coder. I had so much junk - read "crystal", that I don't have any room for my essential supplies. Every time I bring home supplies, I had to throw something out...

Waiting...

... for my ship to get repaired, Y-Wing parts are hard to come by, most of them are procured by the Rebel Alliance and goes into the war effort against the Empire. But the Nym's chief ship technician hinted that he might be able to "procure" some parts from Corsair... sounds good to me :)

Anyway, while waiting, I sould take the time practice some Teräs Käsi Do (TKD). It's been a long time since I last practiced the ancient art because of the Jedi training... Even as a Jedi with the force power and all, the art of hand comabt is still invaluable. Before I left Tartooine, I heard there'll be a Northern Coronet Championship in about week, I should go and have some fun.

Narrow escape

Hmm, 2 Star Destroyers in orbit, that's quite a bit unusual for a backwater planet like Tartooine. "I've got a bad feeling about this....", I better get off this rock...


I was right! The Starport had increased Imperial patrol. The minute I reached orbit, the pair of Star Destroyers dispatched a squadron of Tie fighters to intercept me, and an Interdictor ship jumped out behind the moon, quite a nasty surprise... needless to say, I was pounded on pretty hard. But I have a few tricks up my Jedi sleeves, I managed to fly into an asteroid field just before the shied about to fail, and waited it out. My ship's hyperdrive was so badly damaged, I couldn't do any hyperspace jump, I had to limp on the subspace drives.... And even the subspace drives are barely holding, I had to make a planet fall at the nearest planet from Tartooine - Lok.


Nym is sympathetic to the Rebel Alliance, I guess I can hole up there for a while till the ship is repaired, and before the Imperial figure out where I am. Quite a stash of weapons he's got...

The Tartooine Connection

My journey took me to Tartooine again, while investigating a cave infested my Squills, I run into a old friend of mine Chiv, he's investigating some strange things there as well. So we teamed up, and get to the bottom of it. However, it did not end at the bottom of the cave. The hermit lived at the bottom at the cave, gave us some clues... We spend days in the desert of Jundland Waste trying to locate the moisture farmer that supposed to have more information.



Enroute in Bestine, somehow the local Imperial force found out that I'm a Jedi and ambushed me in the Spaceport, I should be more careful now - although I made out without a scratch, but I'm sure they will send a bounty hunter come after me...
