New home decorations

A couple of holograms of the Corellian Corvette and the Lambda Shuttle, as well a toy Tie Fighter. I've arranged as such that, it looks as if my X-Wing is chasing the Tie Fighter :)

I've also spent some time re-arranged all my weapon display on the wall, now they are neatly arranged into types: pistols, carbines, rifles and heavy weapons.

Much ado about ...

nothing ... well ... actually - lightsaber ...

I've been trying to get some Krayt pearl and force crystals for my light sabers, still no luck so far ... and it's been over a week ...

Yet, another pointless kill...

I'm so frastrated... I've built many sabers to date. I've even abandoned using my own light saber crafting kit, and bought a good one with a 14.97 efficiency - VERY EXPENSIVE.

And wearing a Weaponsmith's Tool Set that gives weapon experimentation/assembly enhancement.

As well as eating some Pyollian Cake that supposedly enhance crafting assembly.

And drinking a lot of Bespin port, a very sweet low alcohol port, for experimentation enhancement. But I was never drunk though... As well as using the best meterials I can find, and crafting in a Research Center. I get alot of amazing/great successes when experimenting. But, the end result never varied much - like "Peace" and "Serenity". So, I'd guess I've done all I can for the lightsaber crafting.

The only thing I can possiblly enhance is the crystals and pearls in the saber. I've tuned over a dozen crystals and 3 pearls that with quality ranging from fair to good/quality. The most successful one is 60+ damage, all the rest are junks in the range of 10+ to 20+. And for all these times, I thought, me - a Lightsaber Master, as well as a Master Defender, will be more attuned to the force in tuning my crystals for saber... how wrong was I. I felt like a complete nerf herder ... wait, I AM a nerf herder weilding a glow stick ... arrrrh. No wonder Jedi are almost kill to extinction ...

Looking at this rifle I used to use, I couldn't help but burst into tears. This is a good rifle, but not top of the line, and a lightsaber is supposed to be the ultimate weapon ... Chiv can have this one, he was telling me he saw some rifle does 1005 damge goes for 2 million credits. Get a good smuggler to slice the weapon, it will be way better it is. May the force be with us Jedi ...

Upgrade

Been busy upgrade home appliance and personal recording system. Now with x64 3200+ main processor, and X800 XL visual processor. Look at this, shadows! On another note, hunted a few more Krayt dragons, but still no luck of any pearls. Only thing I got was some tissues.

Serenity

"There is no passion; there is Serenity". Spent a long time today and crafted myself another lightsaber. It was pain stakingly made with love, sweat, and a lot of time. However, it's still only slightly better than Peace I made earlier. I was a little dispointed, since I can't make better lightsaber, the only thing I can do is getting myself some better crystals and pearls.

Went to Krayt Dragon grave yard on Datooine, killed a couple of the young dragons, but no luck of any pearl at all. The chance of getting a pearl is even smaller than becoming force sensitive ...

Peace

"There is no emotion; there is Peace". Built myself another lightsaber, a decent one compared to my previous ones. However, I'm still not happy with the result. A lightsaber is an elegant weapon for a Jedi and extensioon of the force. I must build one that's perfect.

Celebrating Empire Day ... NOT!

While the Imperial loyalists celebrating the Empire Day, as Rebel, I'm trying to expose the truth about the Empire. While I was enroute doing some secret misisons for the Rebel Alliance, I managed to persuade an Imperial soldier to our course. We're now one member stronger.

Guess who I run into ... ? That old priate! But he doesn't seem to remeber me, even we briefly met before. Of course, he's too busy with more important stuffs.

During my misson, I was embushed several times by Hutt Expedition forces, they must be lured by the big bounty on my head. But needless to say, nobody was able to collect the bounty ... And I was surprised to find some art work in their camp. Didn't know there're art lovers among the thieves of Hutt.

This is a Cargo Port Blus Print.

A painting entitled Freedom.

And a beautiful Valley View.

Now, these new paintings and my new Rebel banners given by Solo decorate my living room.

Going home

I've also learned many Force Healing skills. Finally, I've completed all that are required for a Padawan. I'll be looking forward to my Knight's Trial, and becoming a Jedi Knight!

Heading home. Stars stretched to thin lines as the ship jumped to light speed. I've been on Kashyyyk over a week, the camp was very bare, and without a refresher, the first thing I'll do is take a long shower, make that 2, 1 shower may not be enough to get rid of the smell ... Hey, it's not just me, everyone there smelled like this ... wet Wookiee ...

A Wookiee gift

While I was heading down the jungle, I helped out some Wookies stranded in deep jungle, and he gave me a Proton Carbine as his gratitude. I told him I have no use for it, and I was just glad I could be of help. But he got upset, said if I don't accept the gift, then he'll have to repay his life debt in the traditional Wookiee way ... Mmmm, well, I've got enough trouble as it is, and I certainly don't need somebody else risk his life for me. So, I accpeted the gift, and thanked him many times over, and that made him happy. Nice Carbine, I wish my lightsaber can do this much damage ...

Jedi boot camp

As I descent down the jungle, I run across some Jedi hiding down there doing training. This secret location is perfect for Jedi - it's very difficult for people to get down to the jungle this far with so many dangerous creatures on the way. Also, the jungle is so dense, if impossible for the bounty hunter's tracking droid to seek out the mark. So, I joined them for some training - need to improve my Jedi skills, you know.

This turns out to be a secret training boot camp for Jedi Padawans - since I see a daily turn over of different Padawans. It's good to know, despite we're hunted relentlessly, we're growing each day.

A few very long days for intense training, I managed to master the skills in the Jedi Force Defence. At least, I can better protect myself now. There's no Jedi Master around to teach us, we practice and learn from each other, as well as from some rare ancient Jedi holocrons.

Someone brought news, that Imperial Empire will have a new Regulation 19 out, and ...

Kashyyyk

Finally arriving at Kashyyyk, this is a less traveled planet, the spaceport facility is more than a little run down.

Riding out of the spaceport, there're some traditional Wookiee dwellings. The design is very unique, and suitable for the local climate. And trees very where. I start to love this place already.

Wookiees are rebel sympathizer - well mostly, I've seen some Wookiees lured by greed joined the Empire and kill their own, as well as hunting Jedi. Anyway, their dissatisfaction are evident - small rebel outposts hidden away in the dense of the jungle, like this one I accidentally came across. The Wookiees also have very strong ties with Jedi, there's a less known fact that Chewbacca is a good friend of Jedi Master Yoda.

The jungle here is famous for it's dangerous creatures, the trees are hundreds of meter tall, and the Wookiees build their houses on the tree top, and rarely venture into the bottom of the jungle - a very very deadly place. The giant spider for example - Walluga Skullsmasher.

This is still pretty close to the top of the forest, I don't want to imagine what lies deeper.

Bloodclaw Mouf - a weired looking creature, stay away from this one.

Bolotaur - a big lizard, leave it alone, and you just might survive.

Jyykle, it reminds me of the Carion Spat found on Corellia, it's mostly harmless, untill you feed them. There were cases that tourists fed them some food, and they wanted more, so they started pecking people's pocket, just look at their beak, needless to say the result were quite bloody...

This one looks familar to me, I've definitely seen some on Yavin. They're NOT friendly, despite their cute look.

Finally, some harmless creature - Minstyngar, don't let their mean look fool you. They're actually quite tame, the big fang and horn are actually for scaring predators - just a self defence mechnism like those found on some species of butterfly with big round eye pattern on their wings.

OK, I was kidding about it, keep a big girth away from them - unless you consider death and clone, running with bad mechanical arm/leg is fun.

The view on the tree top is absolutely breath taking.

As I descent, it's getting darker. Colour changes from lush green to brownish tree trunks and branches.

This is the only creature I encountered that is not dangerous. Really, I'm not kidding this time.

Almost reached the bottom of the jungle, see how dark it is? Not, it's not night time, it's still daytime. With the forest so dense and trees so tall, the sun light never reaches this part of the jungle. And danger lurks at every corner. Now, there's no more path, I had to walk on branches and jump from one branch to another. One slip, you'll be a smear on the ground below ...

Webweaver - run for your life! This thing takes a team of professional hunters to kill. And they're very aggressive, razor sharp fangs, needle like hair on their back and legs, and deadly poison.

Well, the travel brochure says "... consult a doctor immediately", but let me tell ya, you won't last that long to consult a doctor ...

Travel among the stars

I'm a traveler, always wanted to go to distant stars and planets, explore the unknown. And I'm really tired of the Jedi training, and being hunted by the bounty hunters. I'm going to take some time off do some traveling. The first thing come to my mind is Kashyyyk - the home planet of our furry friend Wookiee.

So I jumped into my space yacht, did I mention I just bought it for my trip. The view from the bridge is breath taking.

The beautiful nebula ...

The astroid field near a small sun, crackling with lighting storms. Beautifaul and deadly at the same time. One misstake, and you'll be either smashed into atoms by the astroids the size of a ship or pulled into the sun vaporized instantly.

Knee deep in the ...

... XP hole. I did well the previous day, not only got out of my xp hole, but also earned enough exeprience and learned a new Jedi skill. So, yesterday, I went out hunting again. The group is lil disorganized, someone in the group constantly throwing grenade on the lair. I had to manage the group, heal members, chase down some Bol to save the members. In between these, I got incapacitated. Then a bounty hunter showed up, I didn't even realize, I thought it was still the bol was attacking me. After another incapacitation, I suddenly realized I've been attacked by a bounty hunter, but it's a lil too late already ... Another 240k down the drain, and made me 200k deep in the hole. After cloning, checked out my combat log, I was actaully dealing more damage when I hit the bounty hunter, but my health was so low when he showed up ... he got lucky. I really should pay more attention to the radar.

Anyway, I just got up and continued my hunting, at the end of day, I actually got out of my hole, and 24k positive. WOW! Lucky me ... I would have learned another Jedi skill if it wasn't for this untimely death ... such is life ... of a Jedi ...

Rebel scum

... I can't stop cursing. I know, it's typically used by Imperialists for addressing Rebels, and I'm a Rebel myself. However, afte yesterday's encounter with a Rebel soldier, I have some new perspective ...

Yesterday was my first time hunting using Jedi skills after I was killed by a bounty hunter. After an hour of intense hunting, I returned to the Argo Outpost for some rest. A rebel bounty hunter walked up to me, and he told me that there's a bounty on my head, and I'm his mark. Hmm, that was fast ... Anyway, he said he'll forget the whole thing, if I pay him the bounty. We're BOTH rebels! I was shocked! Many Jedi padawans would have met the demend. NOT ME!

"It's not going to happen." I replied politely.
"Then I'll have to kill you, and you will face the heavy consequence!".
"So be it." Retaining my composure, I cocked my rifle, released the safety, activated personal shield generator and bowed to him.
"You're not using your lightsaber?" He looked surprised.
"Guess not, now."
"Err, well, I'll get you ... but some other time." He walked away.

I wanted to kill him right there, but, it's not the Jedi way, and certainly not the rebel way.

Minutes later, another rebel came up, "Hey, dude, careful, you're wanted by the Imperials." He saluted me, and walked off. I heard him saying "... now I got to find an Imperial Jedi to hunt ..." as he was walking away. Now, this is a honourable rebel, who's not lured by credits to hunt one of their own. The rebels are not all the same, some are good, yet some are not to be trusted ... Now I have to watch me back even from the rebels, sad ...

Guess....

... what I've been doing? Busy myself with Rifle training! I reached the Master Rifleman again! Plus some Carbine skills in the Marksman. Now, I'm lvl 80, again! But I'm not sure how long it will last ... Enjoy while I can ...

I've also aquired an Imperial Test Prototype Personal Shield Generator (I tell ya, with all the Imperial crack down, it's hard to come by even if you got the credits, unless you have some darn good smuggler connections - this one comes from Booster), that will help me take a few hits, plus some high grade Instant Stim D when my force healing runs low. Bounty hunters ... bring them on!

Nerf herder!

I've been nerf herding the recent days, well, not exactly ... I've stopped Jedi training, not kidding, really! On the day the bounty hunters hunted me down, I consolidated my Jedi skills, and ended up with 40+ skill points. I've been so paranoid lately that I think everyone I met is a bounty hunter ... And I just can't seem to pick myself up to practice Jedi skills, it's so discouraging - I'm still 100K in the hole ...

So, I started training up my long forgotten Rifle skills, it's only been a short while, but, I'm already getting quite rusty - I think I can only remember half of them now. It's been slow, hard to find a hunting group. All my friends seem to dispeared as well, Jedi and non-Jedi alike. I also had this strange feeling keep nagging in my head "... grown old, the hamster has ...", hmmm, what does that mean?

Rumor has it that there's a new Imperial Regulation 18 in place since yesterday. But, I have seen far too many regulations that are disruptive instead of improvement, I'm not really looking forward to it.

Bol evolution?

Despite all the Bol hunting on Dantooine, there's still a big population explosion. It seems the more you hunt them, the more they breed, hmm, kinda makes sense - otherwise they would have gone extinction by now ...

Came out of hiding

After a few days of hiding, I finally came out of my hiding place to run some errand - getting some much needed supply of food and drink, and some rare material to make a better lightsaber. I went straight for a Fourth Generation Double-Bladed saber, since it provides more damage. This one come up with a 201 DPS(damage per second), a big improvement from my old CDEF saber of 89 DPS.

To compare the difference between the sabers, I also made myself a Fourth Generation single-handed saber, I used exactly the same materials, but this one gave me a whooping 210 DPS, even more than the Double-Bladed saber. But, there's no conclusive evidence that a single-handed saber is better than a double-bladed saber. Even though my new sabers have higher damage, but it's still a far cry from the other weapons I use.

For example, the Laser Rifle I'm using now, has a damage range of 507 to 997, it's on par with Chiv's beloved T21 if not better. It beats my CDEF lightsaber for sure ... Guess I still shouldn't count on the saber to defend myself, it's still a glorified exotic glowstick.

Testing out the new saber on a Darkside Savage, I shot him a few times with rifle first to soften him up, so he won't hurt me too badly when I pulled my saber on him. It was satisfying, but not as satisfying as slicing up a bounty hunter ... One day, I'll have my satisfaction.
